Logging your weight

Your weight is an interesting number, and keeping track of its changes can be even more interesting. Based on popular demand, we’ve now introduced a simple, private weight tracker. Updates on the weight field will be stored once a day (i.e. if you made a mistake, just type it again – the daily value will be overwritten). We’ll be polishing the implementation of the weight logger a bit in the coming days, but the essence will stay the same.

By clicking the “Log your weight” / “Weight logger” link, you’ll find a graph of your weight development over time. This graph, and anything you input in the weight field is private – visible only to you.

This feature broke the main thing that is adding trainings. In particular, I can’t add “Running” or “Cycling”. I believe, that these “sports” are “under” the “Logging your weight” section.

Adding new features increases sacrifices for the current users quite often. This is a typical case of it.

I’m having same kind of problems with adding trainings. I’ve tried spinning, tennis and golf but nothing happens.

Pikku Kalle, Sande, all sports are still there on Moozement. Unfortunately due to a bug after we introduced “Log your daily weight” one sport from top-6 has disappeared (it was different one for every user, based on sport popularity). This bug was affecting sport availability for a short time before it was fixed, and now you should be able to enter all your workouts as before.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you still experience problems, and sorry for inconvenience.

One thing to remember when logging your weight is you weigh different things at different times of the day. Your at your lightest just after your morning “evacuation”.

Someone once showed me a weight-loss graph and they’d weighed once themselves in the morning, and once in the evening. The graph showed two smooth and almost parallel lines going downhill. If they’d weighed themselves at different times of the day, it’d be jumping up and down a bit.

I went Thai boxing last week, and weighed myself just before and after the session and was surprised I’d lost 1.7kg in the process! And that included taking on half a kilo of water!

I’ve tried to log my weight but as there’s no “save” button for it, the data does not seem to be saved anywhere and the graph says “empty data set”. Am I just unobservant? What else do I need to do besides write the number to the box?

@Kristiina You just need to press Enter after entering your weight. It seems to be not clear to many users, so we are introducing a button next to input field in the next update.
