We’ve recently introduced the possibility to login to Moozement with your Google or Facebook account. This is primarily intended for new users, who don’t bother creating “yet another account”, but it’s also possible to link your existing Moozement account with your Google or Facebook login credentials. This requires that you a) use a Gmail address to login or b) are a user of the Moozement Facebook app. We’re looking into clever ways of linking any existing account to 3rd party credentials.
These login mechanisms do not contain any specific information security risks: Moozement will never see your password, we will just get an “OK” from Facebook or Google that the user is really who he/she claims to be. In case of Facebook-connect, Moozement will fetch your profile information from Facebook (name, location, avatar, etc.)

FB integration is cool but profile picture flickering that comes with it is pretty annoying
. Session-scope cache for profile pictures maybe? (or is it, too, against FB Application Development guidelines?)
Also, is fetching gender information and such still work-in-progress on your part or is it a FB privacy thing?
Anyway, thanks for cool social utility
any chance of an iPhone App?
@James Greenwood iPhone app is coming right after the mobile version, which is coming soon
There’s tiny bug with logging in using Facebook credentials. I do not have login email and password to login using mobile phone browser.. Thus I cannot get the app for my phone.
Since I registered through Facebook there is not even possibility to change email and/or password settings in Moozement.com..
Otherwise I am excited about the Moozement!
@Karri: Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, Facebook Connect doesn’t work on mobile. We hope it will soon…
If you want to start using Moozement on mobile asap, you can create a new Moozement account, recreate your friendships there, and ask us to move your training log from the old account to the new one.
Today I can’t login via Facebook.
@Mattia: Facebook rolled out changes (http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Rollout_Plan_of_Update_to_Connect_JS_Library) that were not supposed to affect developers, but apparently did. Problem is now fixed – you can login via Facebook.
