A popular feature from our Alpha, Groups, has just been introduced to Beta!
You can create groups for anything you like: your club, a group of friends, runners in your city, people who can’t decide if going to the gym is fun or not, … you name it! The current feature set of the groups is all about “the essentials”, we’ll be adding a few cool extras in the following days.
Next on our plate after Groups will be to take a fresh look at the “Buddy log” concept from the Alpha – a fun and visual way to compare your activity log with your friends.

It would be good if the posts would sort by the date the excersise has been done, not by the posting date like it is now. then you coudl better see the activity – now if someone posts their excersises only once a week, they will be as one list.
Any plans to introduce a way to track other things affecting your health in addition to sports like:
- meals
- special events (e.g. sickness, trips….)
Great service otherwise, keep up the good work!
@Elina: Our idea was that you see all new entries easily in the feed (i.e. things that happened a week ago but were logged today do not “disappear in the feed”). A chronology of your exercises can be seen in the training log (“Full training log” view). Thanks for the comment – we’ll keep this in mind!
@Otto: special events definitely coming, meals – not sure.
Thanks for the great site which is just perfect for our group – this is exactly what we were looking for! However, it seems like you had a nice group feature in Alpha which we would greatly appreciate to have in Beta, too: the group bulletin board. Do you think you could introduce that soon?
Thanks again for your good work and dedication!
Oh no, there IS a group bulletin board! Was it temporarily disabled or was I just blind and dumb when I didn’t see it? Probably that. Thanks, it works fine and looks absolutely terrific!
It would be great if you could share activities – e.g. someone adds a tennis match and the tennis partner could somehow indicate that they were there too (and automatically add the event to their own log). Or maybe there is a way to do that already?
It would be nice if there would be a group target also. It could be the same kind that the personal target counter is. Then there would be more idea in the groups when you could have mutual goal to strive for.
@eva: Thanks for the request! This is quite a popular one, i.e. on our to-do list.
@Simmu: A great idea, thanks for sharing! We’ll think about how to do this & look forward to implementing it. ; )
