Calling for ideas for the weight log

Yesterday’s release was a success: we broke our daily records in new users, server load and exercises logged during yesterday! We’re still settling login issues for some of you, but please be patient here, everybody should be up & running soon.

The most popular feedback topic after yesterday’s release was the weight log. Thanks for all the comments! The overall sentiment was that the new implementation is not good enough as it is – so let’s make it better!

We wanted to achieve three things with the weight log update: 1) to remove the actual weight figure from the home page (popular request – having the figure there prevented people from sharing their screen) 2) to make the log accessible & editable without having to make an entry 3) to create a clear visual style we can start building on. The current graph is quite minimalistic and the labeling doesn’t support all use cases, but it’s straight-forward now to develop the weight log further, to do more and richer things with your weight data.

So please send us any ideas or comments you might have on the weight log to help us make it rock!

    Hi!

    Would it be possible to develope simply a basic smart phone application for HeiaHeia!
    I love the program but I basicly live through my Iphone and cant find one could you please develope one?

    Otherwise, I love your webite and HeiaHeia has does alot in getting me to stick to the program!

    Is there a possibility to set a target weight you could see on the weigth stats?

    Hello there!

    Few improvements:
    - “Zoom” to month or week and date ranges entered by user
    - Weekly/monthly averages and statistics
    - Target weight (as suggested above)
    - Weight from latest entry as a default when adding new

    Not exactly a weight log function, but would it be possible to have a feature that would estimate the calories burned during exercise?

    Would like to see a prediction date when desired weight is been reached. As also the weight index would be nice to see (maybe with some graphics or colors…)

    Weight-loss (or gain!) follow-up feature, possibly on a weekly basis. The present one now just states the individual weight, not the development.

    It would be nice to follow the burned calories to build up!
    Maybe if brave enough, man could also share them with friends and cheer and get cheered at.
    What do you think? Shouldn’t be that hard to code either.

    Possibility to set axis limits manually (or have a global minimum range). Looks stupid if a variation of 2 kg is spread out the same way as one of 30 kg is.
