HeiaHeia.com, Fazer (the #1 consumer brand in Finland), and SATS (the #1 Fitness Center Chain in Northern Europe) have teamed up to create a super-simple way to create a training program tailored for your personal needs.
A feature asked for by thousands of HeiaHeia users, the training program generator is an easy way to create a training program that fits your own activity profile, and is a natural part of your social training log on HeiaHeia. The first programs on the system have been created by SATS, the leading fitness center group in Northern Europe with over 300 000 members. The use of these programs, as well as HeiaHeia.com, is free of charge.
A great reason to try out a training program could be your New Year’s resolution: promise yourself to go through a 2-month Gym program or a 1-month “Getting started” program – we promise you’ll feel good about yourself afterwards! ; )
Here’s how to use it:
#1 Click the new icon in “Extras”

#2 Select what kind of a program you want
#3 Fill in your details and assess your fitness level by answering three simple questions
#4 Pick how hard you want the program to be
#5 Choose when you want to start (note: the programs have been designed for a weekly rhythm, so it’s best to start on a Monday)
#6 Preview your program: each week has a theme (each exercise is described in more detail when you click it open later on in your training log)
#7 You are ready to start!
#8 Using the program is easy: all the planned entries have been entered to your training log. As a given exercise “happens”, just click to make an entry as you normally do – you are then asked, if you want to approve / edit / remove this planned entry.
#9 Deleting a program: you can delete a full training program by clicking it open from your training log timeline, and then clicking “Delete”
Please note: do not risk your health by following a program and not listening to your body! If you feel tired or ill, remember to rest adequately. You can always remove and restart a program.
The programs are at this point available in two languages: Finnish and English. I.e. if you use HeiaHeia in Swedish, German, Spanish, Italian, or Russian, you’ll be shown the programs in English.

Hi,
The applications tells me that “the starting point can’t be in the past” even though I’m trying to set it to December. Do you know why?

This is probably not possible, but I dare to share my wish with you anyway: please do include a cycling (preferably separate indoor and road cycling, mountain bike, cyclocross) training programs to the wizard… would be awesome and you would make many many people happy.

I really liked this idea that the computer would make a training program for me but there’s one thing that makes me not want to use it. It’s the fact that right now I’m going to the gym AND running because I want to be fast AND strong. If I try to make myself to separate training programs with HeiaHeia for gym and running and follow both of them I would burn out in a week.
But I agree that this should help new runners and/or “gymmers”

I like this program, it’s a very good idea, thumbs up! But, when it generates the sports or activitys it sometimes comes up something I dont need or like. For example I’m a Orienteer and I also do MTB-O, and for that I need running and cycling exercises, and also gym excersises. But it never generates that I need or want.
This is a very good function on HeiaHeia, and it would be even better if you self can put in what sports you want in the program.

Why not make the program customizable to the kinds of exercises you want to do. I would gladly substitute dance classes or swimming for “nordic walking” which I just find silly. The program is GREAT other than that…

Is it possible to create my own training plan? As when it gives me trainaing plan, but for example I have busy this day I would like to move training when I can. And set different sports what I daily use not only what they suggest. Thank you.
